After boil notes
The chiller and the cold weather took the temp down to 70 in about 40 minutes. At this point had about 11.5 gallons. I managed to get about 10 gallons in the fermenter with the hops soaking up the rest. Pitched yeast and started cleanup. All in all a decent brew day. Had to contend with the cold and a frozen water line along the way. The fermenter is chugging along just fine now. I will dry hop this with 2oz each of Citra and Mosaic after I transfer to secondary. The sample tasted quite bitter and somewhat unbalanced but in a good way.
